I’ve been busy today greeting our guests and stocking our exciting new gift shop, so I thought it was time for a simple repose at my favorite Starbucks™. Luckily, the café is right inside our front door at King Street. I highly recommend the chocolate cookie crumble Frappuccino®, especially on a hot day. But then…anytime is a great time for a Starbucks™!

Sly, the Swamp Fox Ponders All That is Charleston
I’m honored to be the mascot of the beautiful Francis Marion Hotel here in Charleston SC. As a fun, warm and fuzzy symbol of the original Swamp Fox, Brigadier General Francis Marion, who is famous for his “sly” guerrilla tactics against British troops during the American Revolution; you’ll see me out and about town this season.
