Looking for a way to customize your wedding, why not celebrate with a fun signature cocktail? Maybe it’s a drink that both of you enjoy, a remembrance of where you met, or a way to bring in a splash of color. Our mixologist at the Francis Marion Hotel will be happy to create the perfect cocktail for your special day. Below are a few of my favorites.

The Something Blue

Every bride needs a little “Something Blue” for her wedding day! This simple and elegant white wine and Hypnotiq drink is easy to make and is perfect for any of your wedding festivities.

Wedding Cake

My kind of cocktail.  You can have your cake and drink it too. This delicious cocktail has 1 ½ oz of Amaretto, ½ oz. of white crème de cacao, milk, and pineapple juice.

Southern Bride

A gentile cocktail for every Southern (and northern) Bride, this simple mix of 2 ½ oz of gin, 1 oz grapefruit juice and a splash grenadine would make a great addition to any wedding.

Blushing Bride

A wedding would not be complete without a Champagne toast to the bride and groom. The Blushing Bride is an extremely easy cocktail for just that purpose that adds just 1 oz of peach schnapps and 1 oz of grenadine to your bubbly.

Lowcountry Lemonade

A staple here in the south! Just simply mix sweet tea vodka with lemonade and add a lemon wedge to garnish. This cocktail is best served in a small mason jar.

One of the best ways to impress your guests with a signature cocktail is through its presentation. Serve the drink in a different type of glass such as a mason jar or Tom Collins glass. Use bright colored fruits, a bright colored sugared rim, or candy to garnish. Get creative and have fun with it! Hand passed cocktails or a display near the entrance are a quick way to get drinks into your guests’ hands, get the party started and minimize long lines at the bar.
