Finding yourself drawn to mixed metals, mixed woods and vintage fabrics? Wondering why Target & TJ Maxx don’t have a wicker aisle already? Have you been so excited to incorporate those sentimental items passed on to you or are you trying to think of ways to honor your family on your big day? Your wedding style may have a newly dawned name for 2021- Grandmillenial.

And hey– we are huge fans of this. We are flattered there’s finally a term to describe our style here at the Francis Marion Hotel. What can we say… we were ahead of the times in 1924 and we still are!

Being a historic hotel, we have that vintage charm that everyone attempts to recreate. We were born with it and
it’s our time to shine, baby!

So, now that we have a term for the style, we can start with choosing the perfect ballroom for you wedding day.
Offering three ballrooms, each can fit your vintage dreams  Whether you want full on vintage charm, a relative nod to it or to completely design yours from scratch- there is something for every stage of grandmillenial style.

One of our favorite Wedding Vendors, Tiger Lily Florist came together with us and helped us create some pretty amazing ideas for your vintage inspired wedding. We have the backdrop and now it’s time to enhance and add your special touch along with some of Charleston’s very best wedding experts.
