The temperatures are cooling off & the crisp mornings here in the Lowcountry are fit to be enjoyed. The best part of mornings is enjoying a cup of coffee. When visiting & staying in the heart of downtown Charleston, there are so many options (many are within walking distance) to enjoy a cup of joe. We made a list of a few favorites to visit:

1. Kudu Coffee & Craft Beer
4 Vanderhorst Street Charleston, SC 29403
(2-minute walk from Hotel, 0.1 mile)
Kudu Coffee & Craft Beer is a short walk from our front doors. Perfect on cool, sunny mornings the shop’s outside terrace is the perfect place to sip one of their lattes and enjoy a breakfast quiche or croissant. Locally owned & operated, Kudu also carries local craft beers and wines if you wish to visit later in the day.

2. The Harbinger Café & Bakery
1107 King street, Charleston, SC 29403
(1.7 miles, 8-minute drive from Hotel)
A cozy and quintessential coffee shop located on King Street, the Harbinger is a must go when visiting Charleston. Enjoy in house baked cookies, bagels, scones and so much more- plus many of which are vegan friendly & gluten-free options while you drink a Honey Latte. All their beans come from Methodical Coffee, a local coffee roaster. Their back patio is perfectly shaded and is a personal favorite to sit and enjoy that someone special’s company.

3. Second State Coffee
